Brown is Etihad Player of the Month
for October

Congratulations to Mike Brown who has been voted the Etihad Player of the Month for October. The 23 year-old full back was in the thick of the action throughout the second month of the new season, which saw Quins get back to winning ways in the Guinness Premiership and record back-to-back victories in the Heineken Cup.

Brown was a first half try scorer in the bonus point away win versus Worcester at Sixways and then made a crucial first half try saving tackle in the victory over Scarlets in the Heineken Cup. Winger Darren Daniel looked certain to score in the corner for the home side, only for Brown to haul him down just short of the line, before Quins staged a magnificent second half fight back to claim a famous win.

The England international then claimed his fourth try of the season when he crossed the whitewash right at the start of the second half in the 42-21 defeat of Ulster at the Stoop; a result that took Quins top of pool 4 in the Heineken Cup.

Care is Etihad Airways Player of the
Month for September

Congratulations to Danny Care who has been voted by the fans as the Etihad Airways Player of the Month for September. The 21 year-old has been an influential figure in the opening month of the new Guinness Premiership season, which has seen Quins win three of their five matches.

After making his England debut in the summer against New Zealand, Care was in the thick of the action right at the start of the new season; it was his fine break that resulted in a try for David Strettle in the very first minute in the victory over Saracens (6th September), before giving Ugo Monye an excellent inside scoring pass for his second half try in the same match.

OCare then capped a fine individual display by scoring his first try of the season in the 31-13 win against Bristol (13th September) before also crossing against both Gloucester (20th September) and London Irish (27th September).
