Throughout the season Etihad Airways has been running a promotion to help support the development of club rugby. This season each club that signed up to the promotion gave their U12 players the added incentive to practice hard and improve their game to become the Most Improved Player, as each one selected won four tickets for them and their family to watch Harlequins against Newcastle Falcons on Abu Dhabi Day. They also had the opportunity of winning a family holiday for four to Abu Dhabi, staying at the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al-Beri and given a city tour of Abu Dhabi and dinner in the desert courtesy of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
